The Legacy Project is a feature documentary examining various regions of the world with a long history of violence and oppression and the legacy that has left for current and future generations who must pick up the pieces and rebuild. Seen through the eyes of the survivors and perpetrators as well as those looking to create a more hopeful future for their communities, The Legacy Project is an epic film not just about violence and oppression, but what it means to survive and live with hope.
From the town of Oswiecim, Poland, where millions perished at Nazi extermination camps, to the assimilation of the indigenous peoples of North America, The Legacy Project will examine not just humankind's greatest inhumanities but more importantly, our ability to transform ourselves in the face of adversity and heal from anything.
